Anantara Zanzibar Resort and Residences has been honored with the ‘Best Hotel Architecture in Africa’ award by the International Property Awards, one of the most respected recognitions in the global property and design industry.
This award celebrates architectural projects that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and a strong connection to their cultural and environmental context. Anantara Zanzibar stood out for its elegant blend of contemporary luxury with authentic Zanzibari heritage, its seamless indoor-outdoor living concept, and its thoughtful use of natural materials that harmonize with the island’s landscape.
This Regional Award represents the highest honor in the African category, recognizing excellence in architectural design, innovation, and contribution to the built environment across the continent.
The recognition comes as part of the esteemed International Property Awards, where winners are evaluated by an independent panel of more than 80 global industry experts. The assessment focuses on design quality, originality, sustainability, and overall architectural impact.
